Non Surgical Nose Job
What is a Non Surgical Nose Job?
A non-surgical nose job (also known as non-surgical rhinoplasty or nose filler) can be an ideal solution if you are unhappy with the shape of your nose and do not want to undergo invasive surgery. One of the most common complaints that filler in the nose can address is a hooked nose.
By injecting dermal filler above and below the bump this creates a much straighter symmetry and even contour, becoming much more aesthetically pleasing. A non surgical rhinoplasty can also be used to change the shape of the nose tip, creating a more defined profile and chin projection, perfect for all those profile selfies.
At DK aesthetics our nurse has undertaken specialised training within the treatment of non surgical rhinoplasty with the ability to subtly yet effectively change the appearance of the nose using careful placement of dermal filler that is safe and effective with minimal downtime/side effects.
The results of a non surgical rhinoplasty are temporary, which appeals to people who may not be 100% confident in committing to full cosmetic surgery or the financial cost that comes with it.
- DO NOT apply makeup or creams for at least 12hours post Dermal Filler Treatment.
- DO NOT expose the treatment areas to extreme heat (e.g. sun beds /sunbathing/solarium/ sauna) for at least 14 days, as this may affect product durability. Individual aftercare advice will be given after your treatment.
Bruising is the most common complication of treatment, this can be reduced by applying ice and avoiding alcohol 24-48hrs pre and post procedure. It is ok to cover any bruising with concealer or makeup the next day.
If you are using aspirin, clopidogrel , warfarin or similar medication be aware that these may increase bruising or bleeding at the injection site.
Rarely numbness or tingling occurs over the site of injection. If the area remains blanched (pale) or becomes extremely painful please contact the clinic immediately as it may be a complication from treatment that requires medical intervention.
What is Hyaluronic Acid and why is it added to filters?
Hyaluronic acid is a natural part of the body , with increasing age our skins natural hyaluronic acid content loses the capacity to store moisture and volume . It becomes drier and thinner, and regenerates less efficiently.
Hyaluronic acid is clear gel, which is injected in very small volumes with a fine needle under the skin to restore lost volume and allow tissue integration. It is available in various options making it suitable for mid and lower facial contouring. The differing levels of product viscousity allows for careful placement without altering your natural appearance.
Which parts of the face can I get treatment?
The scope of hyaluronic acid gel is large , it can smooth out wrinkles, enlarge lips and model facial contours.
How long does the effect of treatment with hyaluronic acid last?
This is different from patient to patient and depends on many factors, such as lifestyle, skin type, age and the injection technique of the treating physician.
What happens to my skin if I choose to not maintain treatments?
Your skin will take on the appearance it had before the first treatment with hyaluronic acid.
How long do the results last?
The effects of the injections last approximately 12 months before repeat injections are required. For many patients the effects can last longer.
Do I get instant results?
Rejuvenation results from filler are achieved instantly. There will be a slightly fuller appearance immediately after injection of the filler due to natural swelling, which resolves after a few days.
During the consultation it is important to assess the static and dynamic facial movements of each client . This is done in order to achieve a natural-looking result, whatever emotion you’re feeling.
